Any time you have a chance to see a legendary musician or band, go for it. Carlos Santana and the Santana Band played at Amalie Arena in Tampa, Friday evening. It was my great joy to hear Santana as if they were in a club, having fun, so energetic and relaxed, playing brilliantly, with pristine sound. It was very emotional for me, as I've always loved them and Santana was my father's favorite band. In fact the only autograph he ever asked for and received was Carlos Santana when they met in the 70s. Dad would have loved the show. Then it was a flood of memories of the many times I've seen the band, as if they held a road map of my life. Tonight's show was spectacular and he was wearing Lightning colors, which made things even better. What a sweet, wonderful musical experience. Bravo, Carlos Santana.
