This evening was special for me. I got to hang out with my two favorite guitar players, as Shaun Hopper came down from Pinellas to visit, and Tony Sheppard joined us for an impromptu jam and dinner. If you've never heard Shaun, go up on Youtube and give yourself a treat. While in my mind, the word great is overused, not so with Shaun Hopper. He is truly a virtuoso guitar player. Our own Tony Sheppard is no slouch either and the two traded licks for a while, and then I got to strum on Norwegian Wood, while they picked gorgeous notes. I'm hoping Shaun will come down more often, and perhaps sit in with the band.
