Dreamwalkers: Magic Happened

There are moments in life when you get a message showing you what could be, what is in the realm of possible, what can manifest. Tonight held one of those moments. Everyone has returned from their various travels and the band was together for the first time in about six weeks. Harmonizing, singing with Debbie Stern, Culynn Murdock, Bart Dellarmi and myself had magical moments. Put Tony Sheppard's gorgeous lead guitar and Debbie's keyboard and magic happened. Debbie introduced an original song to the band, "Good To See You, Gone." It is a song about divorce and was wonderful, funny, lyrical, stinging and musically engaging. We created a demo for the band to learn. It will be great to support Debbie's original material. Cullyn was in great form on Right Down The Line and my original Dreamer's Story. We sang Boys of Summer together and it was great fun. The band supported my original songs, Suggestion By Echo, Everything Is Changing and Two Insomnias. These all will be on our next album. Of course, playing the classic Youngblood's song "Get Together," was a thrill, with everyone singing beautiful harmonies on the stirring chorus, and Debbie, Culynn and I each taking one verse. We ended the evening going off the high dive by playing Judy Blue Eyes, and the potential of that song is fantastic. Who covers that? I really enjoy playing with these people. The vibe is very high.

Peace,

Dr Dreamwalker
