Dreamwalkers at Sabrosa #2

Dreamwalkers played at Sabrosa, yesterday evening. Several of our Dreamwalkers Family were out to support the band on a very cold night (by Florida standards anyway). At this point in our development, performances are a great opportunity to learn and get comfortable with each other in front of people who are a mix of friends and people who don't know us. For me, the highlight of the show was Jeff Hocker's "Dolphin." The band really connected with the vibe of the song and it's power and beauty were starting to be revealed in real time. Bravo, Jeff Hocker. I loved Jeff Dillon's drumming on Two Insomnias. It's not really a solo exactly, but he becomes the star and he really went for it. I appreciated the vocal help from Pamela Clements, and we will see where she takes this in the future. I think she's brave to get up in front of people with just a few rehearsals. Tony Sheppard's lead guitar on Redemption was fantastic, and I had perhaps the most fun singing during the Tom Petty medley at the end. Hey it's music, it's always fun. We hope to be invited back to Sabrosa, as it's a cool place to play. Check out the videos up in the video section, and I thank Carla Henshaw for taking the videos and sharing them with us.

Peace,

Dr Dreamwalker
